Wide-angle panoramas that use the sea or tidal lochs around the UK as major elements of their composition.
These images were created using a full frame digital camera mounted on a modified spherical panoramic tripod head supported by a mechanically levelled tripod. This configuration creates parallax free sharp images that are perfect for panoramic stitching.

Southend-on-Sea Pier is the longest pleasure pier in the world at 1.34 miles and is Grade II listed. You can reach the pier head by train and visit the Cultural Centre and Lifeboat Station. The image is 225° x 38° (cropped from 360°) and was stitched from 24 photographs.
